When are the best deals on the Infinity?
The lowest prices are generally available in May through July when the Infinity sails on her 7 and 10-night Alaska cruises from Seattle. September/October prices for Panama Canal cruises on the Infinity are slightly less than the March/April prices for the same cruise.
In any event, to find the lowest price on any cruise, you have to actually search for a specific cruise departure and provide information that may help you get a lower price than what is listed on the web site. Cruise deals are often targeted at only certain states, cities or affinity interest (Seniors, Military, Past Guests). So, when you find a cruise you want to go on, you might actually be presented with a better deal when you start to make you booking based on those factors.
Where does the Infinity sail from?
The Infinity sails from Seattle, San Diego, Fort Lauderdale, Santiago (Valparaiso, Chile) and Buenos Aires.
Can I bring liquor on Infinity?
With the exception of wine and champagne, any alcoholic beverages brought on board or purchased in on-board shops cannot be consumed on the ship. All alcoholic beverages other than wine and champagne will be kept for safekeeping until the last day of the voyage. A corkage fee of approximately $18.00 will be charged to wine and champagne brought to the restaurants or bars. Room Service offers reduced-price stateroom beverage packages for in-stateroom consumption of alcoholic beverages.
Is there Internet Access onboard Infinity?
Yes! Infinity guests can connect to the internet by accessing a 24/7 wireless connection "hotspot," or through the Explorations Café or Internet Café located on board. You will be able to receive email in real-time, satellite conditions permitting. There is a charge for these services. There is a per-minute charge, or you can buy a block of minutes. Will my mobile phone work on Infinity?
The Infinity does feature a cell phone network that supports phone calls, internet browsing and text messaging. You should check with your mobile phone company to make sure that you have a contract whichh includes roaming features and for roaming prices (it can be very expensive).
When does the Infinity depart?
Generally embarkation commences at 11:30 a.m. although on occasion there may be exceptions. Please note that you must be on the ship a minimum of one hour prior to departure and that the gangway is pulled 30 minutes before sailing.
